My Take on Philippine Social Issues

Kaleidescope. This may have been too much. But its actually safe to say that the Philippine society, in the context of politics and governance, has varying "color"-preferences, depending on whose side you are with.

Much that I wanted to be fair and unbiassed with my blogs in this section, the more I am being moved to take a stand by my ground and choose whose side I am with.

And yes, I know whom I would like to take my stand with! The following blogs below would atleast give you some hints. Unfortunately, I am giving you the task of running through the blogs below, id youre still with me. Cheers!

A Humble Community in Caloocan Aspiring to practice Universal Health Coverage (UHC)

Somewhere in Caloocan City, a group of peoples organizations are aspiring and gradually building podiums in their plan to formally introduce Universal Health Care for their clients, the underprivileged people of Caloocan City and proximate barangays. The Livelihood, Education, and Rehabilitation Center of Caloocan City is gradually making Universal Health Coverage a still reality in the poor communities in the said City.

Thirty one (31) years after the 1986 Edsa Revolution, the question still remained unanswered; where is the $10B worth of the suspected loot by the Marcos family?

  Space and Powerlesness

This is an essay on how common pedestrians struggle to occupy spaces in urban areas amidst the operations og business establishments in urban and peri-urban areas. The said essay is set in Naga City, a beautiful City in Camarines Sur. All the discussions favorable or against the current geographic condition of the said City is pure discussion only. The author has nothing against the City, its citizens and leaders, especially the late Jesse Robredo, whom I idolize and Vice-Pres. Leni Robredo whom I respect and support.

Integrated Urban Organic Farming

This essay is a discussion on the Integrated Urban Organic Farming project initially implemented PLAN International in selected barangays in the National Capital Region. Said communal farms are managed by the PLAN’s Community Support Groups in the said areas, and will serve as a resource hub for individual families in the said barangays, with the end in mind of providing livelihood and savings opportunities for the beneficiaries.

Ako bes, alam mo, hindi ako masaya dito, kahit buhay pa ako at di pa nato-tokhang. Oo aaminin ko, kahit ganon pala kalalim ang panatisismo ko sa kahit anong gawin ni Tatay, deep in my heart, I know, may isang bahagi ng pagkatao ko ang nasasaktan kapag may pinapatay na kapwa-tao; suspect man siya o biktima.
